National Foundation for Celiac Awareness
The National Foundation for Celiac Awareness (NFCA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to finding a cure for Celiac Disease.

NFCA, a national organization, is affiliated with the leading researchers in the US who are working toward this goal. The Foundation will support collaboration and partnership among scientists and institutions to optimize research potential. We have created an expert panel and competitive grant-making process to fund cutting edge research in the diagnosis and treatment of the disease

Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles

The Division takes a comprehensive approach to the care of patients with gastrointestinal, liver and nutritional disorders. Clinical services include a complete nutrition support service and management of intestinal failure, and liver and intestinal transplantation.

Disorders treated include such complex primary gastrointestinal diseases as Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, allergic enteropathy, celiac disease, pancreatitis, acute and chronic liver diseases, and intestinal failure and short bowel syndrome. We also treat children with digestive, liver or nutritional disorders that result from other primary diseases.

Among our staff are board-certified pediatric gastroenterologists, an enterostomal therapist, a nurse practitioner, a clinical nurse specialist, dietitians and various other personnel organized into multidisciplinary teams for Gastroenterology, Nutrition Support, and Liver & Intestinal Transplantation
